WHAT IS THE CLOTHING PICKUP APP AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

The Clothing Pickup app is an app based service you can use to donate your used clothing and small household items. Users of the app can donate in as little as 30 seconds. Simply create an account and schedule a pickup with one of our Professional Fundraisers. You will receive a text message confirming your pickup. On the day of your pickup, place your items in bags or boxes and leave them out all day so a driver may come to your house to retrieve your donation. You will also receive a reminder text the night before the pickup. After the driver collects your items he will leave you a tax receipt.

WHAT AREAS DO YOU CURRENTLY PICKUP?

We currently service the following metropolitan areas: Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Cincinnati, Phoenix, St. Louis, Orlando, and Tampa, but we will partner with additional Professional Fundraisers in other areas to maximize the area serviced by Clothing Pickup.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ITEMS TO BE PICKED UP?

Your items may be picked up within a few days or within a couple of weeks. The zip codes serviced are rotated according to an internal calendar, so you’ll be scheduled on the soonest date.

HOW DO I GET SUPPORT?

HOW DO I SEE A HISTORY OF MY PAST DONATIONS?

When signed into the app on your mobile device click the menu button (3 horizontal lines in the upper left corner for iOS users) and then “My Donations” which will open up a view with your past donations.

CAN I GET A DONATION RECEIPT OR CAN I USE MY DONATION AS A TAX RIGHT OFF?

Yes! When a driver goes to your house to collect your donation, they will also typically leave a physical receipt in your door.

HOW CAN I CANCEL MY ACCOUNT?

If you no long wish to use Clothing Pickup you can simply stop using it. If you would like your account deleted from our system please send an email to mobileapp@merchpickup.com from the email address that is registered to your account.
